A darn fine journalist and a darn good man. He will be sorely missed by those of us who take pride in the few ethical journalists we have left. And that's all I have to say about that.

CCB told me about it last night. I was so surprised! I didn't realize the cancer was that far along. He read an article online last night to me that said he didn't finish High School. Look at what he accomplished! I'm sad he's gone.
I wasn't a fan of Peter Jennings. I'm more of a Tom Brokaw girl, but it's sad that he died so quickly. Seems like only six months or so ago he announced it.
